    As almost 60% of my family have slaved working in the NHS for about a century as I know to,I hail this author and book as absolutely brilliantly descriptive ,astoundingly factual,peppered with shots of humour,and tears.It shows the utter dedication of Doctors,Nurses,and NHS staff,overtired,overworked,mentally stretched beyond what should be expected of them I will never ever understand why Knighthoods,awards and the such can go to pop stars,actors,footballers etc,who have already had the adulation from us the public,as well as the financial rewards,when Surgeons,dedicated Doctors,Consultants,nurses,without any recognition,quietly give all they have to give.....and more,serving us daily ,from the beginning of our lives to the end.Bless them all.READ THIS BOOK,DON’T MISS OUT ON IT!!!!!?

    A great book - full of really bleak humour but with some truly horrible stings in its tail. Read it and gain a new perspective on the doctors working in your hospitals, but be prepared for it to stay with you long after you finish it
